I love board games. In NO, we had a weekly game night with friends, winner got to pick the next game. One guy would always pick Monopoly, and I think we always played until someone one. DH had a legendary game where he was down to something like 5 bucks but somehow came back and won.
I need to get something like that going out here, I miss it.
I have this fantasy where, once my new ladder arrives (I have an attic with a trap door but no attached ladder - who does that?), I will get some boxes and put the stuff that just needs to be store up ther and be able to get our actual living space really organized. Sometimes these things work out exactly as I plan. We shall see.
Everything about Sandra Lee scares me.
I actually spent yesterday busily organizing. That means that my house is even more chaotic.
I'm setting up my wireless Tivo network right now. go me. Of course, since they had to install the new digital cable last night when I wasn't here, the tivo doesn't actually
get a signal,
but baby steps.

Yep. That's sounds familiar. The whole "it'll get worse before it gets better" saying definitely applies.
I'll be setting up this later today. I'm nervous about doing it and I wish I had a tech type person here to help me, but I'm gonna give it a shot.
Oh, and Happy Birthday wishes to MiracleMan!
Go Vortex!
We have had that kind of router, Nicole. DH is a network administrator/engineer/architecht (I don't know what his official title is any more), so I don't have to mess with those things, but if you run into trouble he can probably answer questions...
Happy birthday MiracleMan!
Tricks are A-OK, Lilty. I am having a lazy Sunday, enjoying a big cup of coffee in my SF2F cup, watching a football game whose outcome I do not care about at all. I don't think I can get more stress-free without being asleep. In fact, I've probably been under more stress while I've slept. How's things with you?
Happy Birthday Miracleman!
When I was growing up my family played boardgames over Christmas break. The game table and the Christmas Tree are closely associcated in my mind. We would play Monopoly until somebody won. And it was usually my brother. So it is very funny to me that he will now not play games because he hates the cut-throat competition.
I don't envy you, Nicole. I have really bad luck when it comes to setting those things up. (Or, ok luck and a laptop that hates me anyway.) I hope everything goes well!
I have to go watch a football game today too, -t. I guess that hypothetically I do care about the outcome, but I won't really be paying attention. At least not so long as Uncle Dave made good food. Plus, they've got a new baby weiner dog. Puppies trump football. Otherwise, things are not bad.
ETA- Happy Birthday Miracleman!
