OMG, what kind of freak family do you come from?

Unless their parents are cousins or siblings

t raises hand I've got first cousins marrying, second cousins marrying . . . Several places in my genealogical records I've just written down "See record whatever".

Ann, that's a ferret.

Gud, do you have any 5-generation pictures?

I have one that I'm in from when I was a baby. It's sitting on an end table at home.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Heh, connie. I've got a few "see whatever"s in my genealogy records, too. My favorites though are the three brothers who married three sisters and all lived in houses next to one another. So as to keep daddy's acreage intact, of course.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I've been in a four generation picture. It's pretty beautiful. My nephew has been in his own four generation picture, but it looks less and less likely every year that I'll ever be able to be in a second four generation picture, much as I would like to give that gift to my granddad.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I have a four generation picture from when I was a baby and my great grandmother was still alive.

We have a 4 gen picture from when my great-grandmother was still alive. She died when I was in college, which now strikes me as quite remarkable.

We should also have multiple 4 gen pictures since my nephew and niece were born, as both my grandmother's died after that, but no 5.

Our wings are not tired.

That is so awesome Aimee.

DH's grandparents lived with us for a time, so I may have some informal 4 gen pics around somewhere.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I had my dad's parents, my mother's mother and father, though he was estranged, and my mother's grandmother. My mother's father died in 97 or 98, right after I got married- but I never got to meet him. There was some regret, but not really a sense of great loss. My great grandmother died shortly after, which means my mother's mother will live to torture me for a very long time yet. This is the first grandparent I've lost where I really feel a huge hole in my life.
