Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

'Life of the Party'

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I thought he was gay?

me, too. I have my gay boys on the trail, though.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

{{{Aimée}}}

So your dad just likes working with sharp things?

So it appears. I couldn't see him as a mattress salesman.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thanks for the hugs, MFN. I really wasn't trying to get sympathy, I swear it!

I know where you're coming from, Aims. I miss my grandmother something fierce. I was too young to remember details about the funeral. Twenty-six years later, people are still telling me stories about her.

It's more empathy than sympathy. Missing them sucks.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

DJ, those are beautiful stories.

The sewing talk is making me laugh. My mother sews beautifully. I did not inherit even the slightest bit of sewing skill. My last sewing project caused me to curse often and be glad it would all be hidden in the mostly dark of my massage room.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

{{{Daisy}}} I'm sorry for your loss. He sounds like a wonderful man.

Aimee, your dress is lovely. Nice work!

I also thought Bradley Cooper was gay... Makes me wonder if Jennifer Esposito is also of the gay. Hmmm

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Not in the wrong at all. I am very blessed to have the Morgans as family, even the ones who piss me off. I'm very lucky to have had Mimi and Wayne as my grandparents and the people who gave me such a magical childhood (just now I was thinking of those trips down to the lake as getting to go off to Hogwarts).

I'm sorry you didn't get to say goodbye in a way that gave you comfort and peace. (((Aimee)))

Our wings are not tired.

I also thought Bradley Cooper was gay...

I thought someone here had paired him with SpyDaddy at one time. Not that that makes a real relationship with Esposito an issue. Best wishes to the cutiehead.

Always Anti-fascist!

About the small girl story, I'm not sure what to think of it. But I hate these stories, because people I hardly know are gonna expect me to be a bioethicist now...I'm much better at fake forensics, actually...armchair profiling, that kind of thing. On one hand, it seems like messing with nature's integrity, but nature didn't give a fuck about that when it made nine year old three month olds, did it? Huh. still can't take a side. Grandfathers: I wish I'd gotten to know Mom's dad better...wish he could have seen me grow up. We would have appreciated each other now.

Huh. On the same side again. It's like complex and stuff.

{{DJ}} {{Aimee}} I'm sorry for your losses, and I'm glad you had them in your lives. All my grandparents were gone before me. I'm trying to make sure my kids enjoy time with theirs.
