Mal: You were dead! Tracy: Hunh? Oh. Right. Suppose I was. Hey there, Zoe.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Gud, that's great! Glad things are better in Gud-land. I've been thinking about y'all.

Our wings are not tired.

That is really good to read, Gud. I know it has been a lot of work. All the best wishes for your family.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh, good, Gud! I'm glad you thought to tell us that. I'm so often eager to share the bad stuff, asking for advice, and I forget to share the good, so I'm glad you took the time. And yay, you guys for sorting things out.

vw, please not to practice mayhem on the parentals. Well, okay, just a little. But be gentle.

Raq, I'm very glad there was no being sick on the plane nor in foreign parts, but I'm sorry you guys missed your trip.

I'm thinking about the babies I'm familiar with through their photos (if not from meeting them), and I think Owen and Lily have the most devastating eyes. Mal and Aidan have grins that just win hearts, and Em and Ellie have this deceptive elfin delicacy that belies the iron wills beneath, and Liv has a watchful, assessing demeanor that seems to measure ordinary mortals and find them wanting. Kara's beautiful cherubic face conceals a heart that's cheerfully black, but strewn with sparkly designs and ideas. Dillo and Matilda are adorable squishy proto-humans whose potential is devastating, although yet to be plumbed. Casper is wry and beautiful and clever. I've missed tales of Franny and Isaac, so they are unknown to me.

I'm sure I've missed someone, through my bad memory rather than deliberately. I love the Buffista babies. Finest kind.

We are off to take StY to birthday lunch--only five weeks late. And maybe a movie after.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Aw. Buffista baby round-up. Nice job, Bev.

Gud, that's great news.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

If I ever stop working on it before Joe goes to bed for the night, I'll get pictures.

Tonight I am attaching the other sleeve and then doing the neck binding and trim. The dress is *really* big on me - I made it in the biggest size it came it so if I made it too big, it would be easy to take in. Now, I'm afeared of taking it in and making it too small. I might get a silky cord thingy and do a wrappy thing around my waist to give it a little bit more shape. We'll see. I also might chicken out on the hemming. *shrug*

Gud, I'm realy glad things are working out much better. Here's to continued inprovement and communication in 2007!

And also, gronk.

Oooh! And a funny Em story: She's potty training. It's slow going, but we don't mind because we don't want to push it and put her off of it completely. Yesterday, Joe was in there, attending to business, but he didn't shut the door completely. Em barged in there, watched him pee, and then proclaimed, "GOOD GIRL, DADDY!"

Very typical for that sort of dress. Those colors are terrific.
