[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Aimee is a dress-making rock star.

move out and draw fire

Lilybean has the mostest eyes of any eye-bearing creature ever. They are eyes to die for, eyes to live for.

This is what Greek culture IS ALL ABOUT

Tell me. We almost couldn't get a birth certificate* because Mal hadn't be baptized. I ended up having to lie and say we were waiting to do it at our own church. I hate lying about religious stuff.

Sorry you are caught in the culture clash grindstone. I wish families could realize the stress they put on people with these kind of demands.

Aimee! Sleeves!

Well, we've all had stomach flu now. I am beyond thankful that we cancelled our trip to Egypt so we didn't have stomach flu in Egypt. Or, god forbid, on the airplane.

- * There would've been a certificate, but it would have said "Unbaptized Boy" instead of a name, and not been useful for getting American citizenship, etc.

Now tagless for your comfort.

That kid was made for hanging in coffeeshops.

She is, without a doubt, the coolest toddler EVER.

Yes. This.

I want someone to have a talk with my kids and ask them to stop waking up at 6 a.m.

Unless this is supposed to happen so I'll enjoy waking them up early in the morning as teenagers. OMG. I think I just figured out Nature's Plan.

VENGEANCE WILL BE MINE!!!!!!!!

What is even happening?

One of us! One of us!

P.S. I think Plei likes Lily, or something. What's up with that?

Mostly lurking...

Lilybean is so GORGEOUS! And, I pile on Plei to ask for Plei pictures as well :).

Go Aimee with the dress-making! It looks fantastic! I can't wait to see you wearing it.

VENGEANCE WILL BE MINE!!!!!!!!

IN TEN YEARS!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I'm at my parents' for the week. They're already driving me batshit crazy. This is not a good sign, I'm thinking.

Our wings are not tired.

Brendon is in HS now and has to get up at 6am. Don't forget to take lots of rude pictures to show their mates when they are teens. Video of naked dancing is good.

Lilybean is so beautiful. Comes by it naturally. Best luck with the job stuff Plei. Pictures!!!

Yay Aimee, you dress making star! Sewing is fun.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Aimee, it looks great! I'm very impressed.

I concur with the Lily comments, as well as the requests for Plei pics.

One of my resolutions this year is to post more and lurk less. Oddly, I have a lot of difficulty finding my words here, so I usually delete instead off hitting the post button.

Oh, and sorry about the Raq Family Illness! That really is unfun. Glad to see you are feeling better.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Aimee, I love the colors of your dress. I can't wait to see the finished product. And for a non-sewer, you're doing fine. I've seen a lot worse mistakes than not putting the pattern on the fold.

The Lilybean is too cool for latte. She should have fernet. When she's 21.

Raq, sorry you missed your trip to Egypt, but I'm glad to hear everyone is over the ick.

Our wings are not tired.

The forecast today is for a high of 79F and it is already 81F at 9:30am. I'm thinking it's going to be a warm day. And rainy.

The little boys were going to sleep in the tent last night. They were out there and about 1am it poured. Like deluge. They came running inside. Hope stuff isn't too wet out there. They aren't the best at zipping up the tent. It was a giggle fest for a while there.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That kid was made for hanging in coffeeshops.

Lily is so cute, and I love the coat she is wearing in that picture.

Aimee, the dress came out beautiful! I am very impressed.

I am full of gronk this morning with added back strain. I should be leaving for therapy any minute; I think I am going to be late today.
