[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Very first world whining ahead.

I was in the Acute ER this morning, 'cause I was in really bad shape. Everyone in the Acute ER gets hooked up to every possible moniter there is, so I took off about 10 sticky things when I got home. A bunch of them were right under my boobs, so my bra is sticking to me, and it is very uncomfortable. But, even worse is the fact that four of them were above my boobs, and I'm going to have to really scrape off the sticky stuff leftovers, otherwise they'll be seen in my fancy dress tonight.

Life is hard.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This one's for Erin, Ple, Aimee and anybody else who likes to hit the makeup counter.

Powder, Lipstick and Rouge from The Dolly Sisters.

Make sure you get at least halfway in and see Lady Lipstick personified.

If I only had a brain...

I'm going to have to really scrape off the sticky stuff leftovers,

I find that rubbing alcohol is my friend.

BOOK: "River..? Please, why don't you come on out..." RIVER: "No. Can't. Too much hair." - 'Jaynestown'

I am at work, as always, begrudgingly wrapping up some more sound design work. In a few hours I will pack up my things and head down to San Diego for this: [link]

As part of my 80's costume, I found a lovely black Siouxsie and the Banshees Dazzle t-shirt at a local resale shop, and dug up an old dangle-y cross earring that my older brother gave me. There will also be huuuuge leather boots and a fishnet shirt.

Tonight's going to be fun; hopefully the best NYE in a while. We shall see!

Wow. Me and my 80's gear killed this thread dead, for the moment.

Happy New Year Y'all!

I've been trying to forget the fishnet shirts.

Now tagless for your comfort.

vw, baby wipes work very well on sticky stuff, too.

I always kept a travel sized thing of baby wipes on hand ever before I had kids because they worked WONDERS removing bar stamps.
