Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Art Crawl!!!

Nora -- glad you and Tom are safe back at home.

My cat Ivan is still totally upset about the whole - changing the heat thing. I took his food dish down to the basement to try to get him to follow the food upstairs and it didn't seem to be working. So, I went into my hallway and moved the small bookshelf that blocks the opening to the pipes in the bathroom and called him from there. And I could hear him calling back but couldn't see him. So I went back into the kitchen (where the door down to the basement is) and he was in the kitchen. The door was shut. How the heck did he do that?

So now he is low-walking around the apartment like he's never been here before, but at least he is at home.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Catnip, sumi? With tuna juice as a lagniappe?

Art Crawl!!!

I would have done that but I didn't need to. . who knew that cats had the power to teleport? (And how scary is it that cats have the power to teleport.)

Shit's all sorts of different now.

So we're going to Michigan in January. Where it will be ass cold. Em obviously needs winter gear. But damn I hate spending that money on stuff she'll wear for a week.

I'm hoping my mom knows someone we can borrow shit from because if I buy the coat and snow pants and boots, then according to sod's law, it'll be 50 degrees. If I don't, there will be 1985" of snow.

Ha.

It also occurs to me that I sold our luggage at the last yard sale and haven't replaced it.

I've never worried about cold weather gear when we travel to family. I put out the word of what sizes are needed and there is plenty of stuff to be found. Only now I have a size issue for borrowing stuff.
