Our wings are not tired

I'm trying to decide if I have the energy to go to my Xmas eve bar. It's a 20 minute drive from my parents place.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Feeling way better - this is like day 3 or 4 of my cold . we went to a friends house to hang for a bit - and at the end of the evening I ended up with a nice ( amatuer) massage which has done a lot for my general feeling that all is right with the world. ( ok, proseco may be helping that)

Somehow we are still buying some online gift certificates for people. Not quite sure how that happened...that's ok. everyone will be happy.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Merry Christmas ALL!!!

It's 2:30am Cali time. I think I hear the sound of hooves on the roof. All the presents are wrapped and under the tree. We all said "a small chrismtas, not too much" and yet, the tree is overflowing! A lot is for the neice. She being the only grandkid of the family, is SPOILED ROTTEN!!! And ya, I contributed to it.

With that, I wish you ALL a very Happy Christmas!!!

:)

(and big hugs to all who need due to being icky on the holidaze. Nothing worse. and also safe travels to all!!!!)

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Good morning.

I have had an untraditional Christmas Eve for me, but a good one. I tried to volunteer at Saints Peter & Paul, but the coordinator was an idiot (it left me frothing at the mouth, I'm sure someone like Vortex would have gone off in magnificent style), then I exchanged presents with M (he liked everything, phew, and the Tim Horton's coffee that hereward shipped me was a HUGE hit), and then I was at my usual places for the rest of the night, and it was good. Kind of a normal night, but also with friends and presents and booze, so yay.

It could only have been better with all y'all here, and we would have needed a bigger boat at that time, so Merry Christmas!

(I'm totally a Christmas girl. Don't tell anyone.)

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Merry Christmas, Juliana! I'm sorry your plans to volunteer fell through, but I'm glad you had a good night.

We were up until 2:30. Kara would NOT go to sleep. She kept popping out of her room saying things like, "You know, it's really very hard to fall asleep knowing Santa's coming." Also the thirsty, and the hungry, and then the thirsty. Greg finally told her that if she didn't get to sleep Santa would have to skip our house and come back later, IF he had time.

My FiL told me the kids would have us up at 5, no matter what, despite my dissent, so there was really no reason to delay breakfast until 10, and somehow we ended up agreeing that, okay, 9 was a reasonable time for him to come on over. It's 8:30, I'm about to have my first cup of coffee, and no one was up until I stumbled down the stairs and woke the dog.

I hope the kids stay asleep until I've had some coffee.

Mostly lurking...

Merry Christmas, everyone!

My family is still sleeping, and I expect they will be for a while. We didn't get home from the late service until 1:30 a.m. I need to try to keep my sleep schedule as normal as possible, so I am up and about.

Our wings are not tired.

Good morning and Merry Christmas!

Up late. Up early. DH back to sleep again. Kids doing things with friends. I'm considering a shower before downing mimosas with my neighbor. Which may give me the energy to dive into my chores, or might put me to sleep. We shall see.

BOOK: "River..? Please, why don't you come on out..." RIVER: "No. Can't. Too much hair." - 'Jaynestown'

I am in John Wayne International Airport, waiting for my flight home. Have paid $10 for a WiFi day pass, since I'll be sitting in O'Hare for over two hours between flights later today, and they have a T-Mobile hotspot there, too. Woot!

I am going to be home for Christmas for the first time since 2003!!
