At my new university, they give bonuses. I've never heard of a university doing that. Also, I tried to call there today and was told that the U President had decided to shut down a day early, so everyone got extra time off. And some people have asked me why I'd leave a top-ten university for a not-even-close-to-top-ten university!

I was doing the white bread because I can make it in the bread machine. My oven's wonky. I could probably force it to not-burn some cornbread, though. I like the idea of salad, even if no one else eats it (and Nick will eat it with me, at least). The mac and cheese is a good idea too, especially since Nick's GF is mostly-vegetarian.
