And....Aimee's here! I am at work. I've clocked in but haven't turned the phones on.
I is tired.
Joe took Kristin and ND to the airport this morning.
That's about all I have.
Oh yeah - I want a doughnut. I have yogurt.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

sumi, want we should google it? I'm sorry your leg is still messed up. I hope it clears up quickly.
Yesterday Aidan stomped my glasses and I now have them held together with thread. Such a charming boy. My fault for leaving them on the coffee table, but dang, that was annoying.
I'm very glad I'm not close enough to volunteer to mop vw's floor. I might be stupid enough to do it.
sj, sounds like fun. This weekend I have to write a survey on some technical issues I don't understand, buy some stuff to finish making some stuff, pick up an order a half hour away, and clean house. I think I have a doctor appt. on Monday, too.
The in-law dessert and present party scheduled for next weekend turned into chili, hamburger helper (a requested dish), presents and brownies (provided by my SiL). My FiL forgot he had another engagement later in the evening. So I have to plan my shopping list and figure out what Greg is giving to his giftee.
Heheh. I was hoping one of the managers was here this morning to bring us doughnuts. Unfortunately, not. Guess I'm stuck with my salad.
t stern glare at Aidan
Do not do that to your mommy's glasses. In the words of Bill Cosby, "She brought you into this world, and she can take you out."
and Aidan says, "TRAIN!" also, "Are you ticklin' me?"
He's been learning new things.
Okay, just bought one of Em's Christmas present - a plush Lilo in her hula outfit.
She already has a Stitch.
And just ordered her other one - some Sandra Boynton books. It's funny, when my brother and sister were small, my mom was OBSESSED with Dr. Seuss books. Everytime we went anywhere that sold books, she scoured them for ones we didn't have. I always thought she was nuts.
I have found myself being the same way with Sandra Boynton. Must. Own. All. Of. Them.
All we need to do is brave Ikea one day to get her new storage bins, and she's done as far as Joe and I go. She's getting so much stuff from friends (bless) and family, that Joe and I are taking it easy since we have space issues.
eeeeh. I should never, never drink. My head is very big and feels precarioulsy perched on my neck. Like it might roll off, under the couch and get coated with dust and Bartlehair.
But I did it. I resigned. And mounted a strategy that I didn't even realize I was undertaking at the time that made the whole process go much more easily than anyone could have expected. The boss took it graciously...if stiffly...so no yelling or unpleasantness. Two people in the office got teary...so that was nice.
The corgiality tide may shift over the weekend, but by then, I will. not. care.
I had every intention of being the white tornado around my house this weekend...even bought a wee yule tree...but that strenuous activity is going to have to wait until my neck regains its stability. But yay.
I just read Boynton's, the Barnyard Dance to an 18 month old this week! My own copy, mind you.
LOVE Barnyard Dance. We had it from the library - I haven't bought it yet.
