Good morning everyone.

I had things I needed to do today but I seriously looked at my left leg (which aches) and even I can tell that it is swollen compared to my right one. Not just the knee but from the ankle up. I wonder if this is partially because I ran out of my bp meds yesterday. (One of my errands is picking up my prescriptions. That one I must do -- the rest I believe I will put off.)

I wore my new knee support to bed but had to take it off in the middle of the night because it was irritating my skin.

sumi, do you wear anything under the brace? I've heard cutting up a pair of nylons and wearing just enough under the brace that it keeps it from rubbing can help.

There was an actual night crowd last night. I'm sorry I missed it. TCG and I are headed out to A Christmas Carol with Mom and Stepdad in a little while and then dinner that their place. It's a yearly tradition. This is the first time T will not be joining us in about 10 years, but I am trying to focus on the positive. We still have to decorate the tree, and then I can start wrapping presents so that I can figure out what I still need to get.

What are the rest of you doing this weekend.

Sailaweigh -- I was thinking of wearing a pair of tights underneath -- so, similar idea. I'm feeling better now that I've had a chance to use the heating pad. I'm going to heat the leg up one more time before I head out to pick up my prescriptions.

I think I'll ask for a list of possible side-effects of the oxaprozin too. (I had one but I lost it.)

Yesterday Aidan stomped my glasses and I now have them held together with thread. Such a charming boy. My fault for leaving them on the coffee table, but dang, that was annoying.

I'm very glad I'm not close enough to volunteer to mop vw's floor. I might be stupid enough to do it.

sj, sounds like fun. This weekend I have to write a survey on some technical issues I don't understand, buy some stuff to finish making some stuff, pick up an order a half hour away, and clean house. I think I have a doctor appt. on Monday, too.

The in-law dessert and present party scheduled for next weekend turned into chili, hamburger helper (a requested dish), presents and brownies (provided by my SiL). My FiL forgot he had another engagement later in the evening. So I have to plan my shopping list and figure out what Greg is giving to his giftee.

Heheh. I was hoping one of the managers was here this morning to bring us doughnuts. Unfortunately, not. Guess I'm stuck with my salad.
