[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Raq, did you mean img_0430? That would be our very own SonusExMachina.

Not that you necessarily know him, or have seen him before. Maybe he just looks like someone you know.

What is even happening?

Nice house, Raq.

Okay, Verizon is making me realize why we should have a silent relationship. Can't get my backup to work. Fine. Decided I should finally update my address. Yeah, they're not making that too easy either. Fuck 'em, I'll stay in San Diego for all they know.

eta: Huh. Swear at the website and magically find the place to change my address. I only thought about it when the dweeb on "tech support", and I use that term very loosely, asked me about the weather in San Diego.

The status is NOT quo.

move out and draw fire

Thanks, Sean - I realized he looks like another friend of mine in Los Angeles, who is on the other end of the job. My friend is a professional tenor.

brenda, it's the right thing to do.

vw, you are taking Toto to Kansas? Do you *want* tornadoes?

vw, you are taking Toto to Kansas? Do you *want* tornadoes?

No. Toto's staying here. I'm very sad. But, we're leaving their stockings all filled and presents for them, and their dog sitter is gonna open them with them on Christmas, take pictures, and e-mail them to us.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Ginger and Epic, I hope they're gone from your places, 'cause they're back here. I won't yell at them again, though. I will save you from the distress.

I thought my guys were on lunch. They came back to you? Corner them and ask about the transporter technology!

Thanks. I am there for my parent's big Christmas party tomorrow and might have a free second or two on Sunday or Monday before I fleeeeeeeee. Then I am back at the end of the week for my stepmom's birthday, Christmas Eve with my mom, Christmas Hell Day with the folks and family and then I fly out that very night. [eta: So, yes, I will try and call so we can see each other cause it's been ages!]

Dang! We may need a crowbar to squeeze me into a schedule that tight! (At the moment, I'm unbooked on Sunday, except I have some shopping to do. I bet I won't even be contagious any more by then!)

Sparky, I was sorry to read you're leaving the left coast, but congrats on the onward and upward! Best of luck dealing with the "I'll get back to you" 's until you're safely ensconced in your new locale.

Negotiation-ma, Brenda!

Librarian Warlord

In my new HR department's defense, they've never had someone hired in this kind of position ask for a moving allowance so there is a bit of flying by the seat of their pants happening.

Nice house, Raq -- I'll buy it if you don't. It's amazing that it is so cheap!

My San Diego, or really, all of Southern California filter was thinking it was hella low priced as well.
