So the U. where I will be working next year finally called with the formal offer -- yay! When they asked me to confirm my start date, I asked them to confirm the moving allowance because it matters if I'm packing or someone will be packing for me -- then I heard papers rustle and she says, "let me get back to you on that." ::headdesk::
Now I need please don't let me have fucked it all up 'ma.
Got a job offer. Probably taking it. Money is good. Called back and left a message asking for more because I've wanted to kick myself for not doing that on the last two jobs. Whether they go for it or not won't actually affect my decision, but I'm so nervous about screwing this all up.

And just when she's resigned herself to the natural order? Back to the cattery for K and back to California for me. Then? Another damn three days of hissing. After which I hope she gets over it.
