Emmett is the best big bro ever - and he's absolutely grown into the job. He's like a whole new amazingly mature kid since she appeared.

It's true. He had her on his chest this morning while we were getting ready. She was face down so she could get her pushups and rearing in and build up her noodley arms, and push with her feet. And he was so encouraging, "You're doing so good! Keep going. Push push push! Good job, Matilda."

He has not been impatient with her yet. And when she's down on the playmat, he's right there next to her making eye contact and rubbing her belly.

The way Emmett fell for Matilda just breaks my heart. (In the good way.)

I'm biding time before I leave early for a spa day! Woot! The ExBF gave me a spa gift cert. for Christmas last year and I'm just now using it. Haircut yesterday, spa today. It doesn't suck.

The pictures of the XXXmas party are great. I wish I'd been able to stop by for more than just a half an hour or so. I missed Sonus, and one other soundie we've both (I think) worked with, plus my TD at the theater I work at most often.

And the pictures of the parents and babies are the best thing evar.
