Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The way Emmett fell for Matilda just breaks my heart. (In the good way.)

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Ded of the pictures. Buffistas & their Sprog Kill Woman In chicago. News at noon.

I'm biding time before I leave early for a spa day! Woot! The ExBF gave me a spa gift cert. for Christmas last year and I'm just now using it. Haircut yesterday, spa today. It doesn't suck.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

The pictures of the XXXmas party are great. I wish I'd been able to stop by for more than just a half an hour or so. I missed Sonus, and one other soundie we've both (I think) worked with, plus my TD at the theater I work at most often.

Agreed!

Not least because of JZ's cleavage.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Feel better~ma, hon.
Thanks.

Whitefont because it sounds too whiny to me, and it's my shit. I just need to core dump it.

It's just that lots of stress happened at the end of last year and beginning of 2006 in San Diego. And once it was all over, I immediately fled to Portland. I went from basically living at my parents to help with my grandma in her last couple of months to leaving the state.

I mean we held the service for my Grandma, and there was a couple weeks during which I came up here, liked it and decided to move and then the service for my cousin who passed away the day I flew back from Portland and the service for Billy on the same Saturday and I moved that Tuesday.

Flying back there today will mark only the second time I have been there to see family (there were a couple of stealth trips for friends) and the first ended up with me in a huge fight with my brother and cut off from the neicelet. The other time was for my sister's baby shower and I literally saw my parents for one meal outside of the actual time at the shower.

I am staying with them for part of this trip. And flying back next week for another several days where I will be staying with them the Entire Time. I'll have a pierced tongue from the biting by New Year at this rate.

Eh. It's life. And I think I might even like at least some of these people but I am emotionally fraught anyway.

In fabulous news, just dropped Kittenish off at the boarding place and she's 8.3 pounds! She was under 7 when I first took her to this vet and was so worried I was going to lose her. Yay thyroid meds and good vets! I mean, I knew she was doing well and had gained weight and was no longer skeletal but having an actual number is so much better for the squeeing.

Okay, laundry, pack, fly.

Damn, I want a nap.

JZ, what a lovely picture!

The status is NOT quo.

LUVRE the baby/parent pictures. Cute. Ded now.

I clearly remember declaring my tagline.

I meant a hint for everyone not at the party, silly!

Btw, do you think there's a chance MM could take us to the Burbank airport tomorrow morning, or do you have him booked for something?

ETA: Oh Cass. {{{{{{{Cass}}}}}}} You aren't whining, love. You've dealt with a lot this past year.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I don't, but I'll have the van tomorrow for work and his car is out of comission.
