I don't give half a hump if you're innocent or not. So where does that put you?

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

Ugh. Not a good way to start the day. Probably an old filling.

It's raining. This is good because I have new sod. Rain at this time of year is usually a good thing. Yay!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

hey! I went to Target for the very first time last Friday. wow! they have EVERYTHING!

I was contemplating the Hello Kitty electronics display (popcorn popper, waffle iron, toaster and coffee maker) thinking Trudy and GC needed this stuff (Hello Kitty! functional!) when a woman came by, looked at it, sneered, and said "what child needs a coffee maker?" I told her that *I* know some ... grown-ups wasn't quite appropriate ... who'd love it. She looked at it again, shook her head, and walked off.

But yay Target!

Silly woman. Clearly she has no whimsy in her soul.

Lots of love and hugs and snuggles to everyone. I was a busy critter yesterday and so I got way behind. I was going to post earlier, but I couldn't figure out where to start!

My Christmas shopping is pretty much done, which feels all wrong.

I think I'm pretty much done with my shopping - I need to review what I've bought. But we've cut back on the number of presents; in my family we exchange the names of our favorite charities and make contributions in each other's names. Happy ending for all - it's always JUST what we wanted, we don't have to find a place for it, and someone somewhere gets some good out of it.

Target is my go to store for many things. Most of the boys clothes are Target. Shiny store.

I was especially enthralled with the shopping cart escalator. It's magic!

I am the worst ever with shopping. In previous years I did lots on line, but now I am too late. I got a couple things for my sekkrit person, and someideas for the boys, but that's about it. I suck. Luckily for me, DH is Mr. Shop Til Ya Drop and he will happily take my list and hit the stores.

Compassionately intolerant

I've only ever been to that Target once Todd...it is indeed grand...and omg!huge.

It seems the store has a fulltime employee whose job it is to swoop up and grab babies out of the shopping carts their deficient parents leave them in on the way up the shopping cart escalator. Wheee! It's a carnival ride! Except for the dozens of signs in several languages warning about its dangers.

I can only imagine what that person's job is like during crazy shopping days. eeep.

I got Greg some snow boots at Target. He loves them. They are super warm and cushiony.

{{Ginger}} Sorry about the tooth.

Cool plan, Toddson. I like that.

This year the extended family here did name drawing/spend less than $10.00, which is working out pretty well. I have to do that shopping still, but that will be next weekend.

Luckily, I was there fairly early in the day on a weekday - not crowded at all! And they had something for my hair I haven't been able to get in town, so I was a happy camper. And on the way back, on Metro, I had someone look at my bag and ask where the Target was.

Beej - last year, were you the one asking about small quantities of egg nog? 'cause I was in Safeway last night and they had the pint bottles.
