Our wings are not tired.

Target is my go to store for many things. Most of the boys clothes are Target. Shiny store.

I was especially enthralled with the shopping cart escalator. It's magic!

I am the worst ever with shopping. In previous years I did lots on line, but now I am too late. I got a couple things for my sekkrit person, and someideas for the boys, but that's about it. I suck. Luckily for me, DH is Mr. Shop Til Ya Drop and he will happily take my list and hit the stores.

I've only ever been to that Target once Todd...it is indeed grand...and omg!huge.

It seems the store has a fulltime employee whose job it is to swoop up and grab babies out of the shopping carts their deficient parents leave them in on the way up the shopping cart escalator. Wheee! It's a carnival ride! Except for the dozens of signs in several languages warning about its dangers.

I can only imagine what that person's job is like during crazy shopping days. eeep.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I got Greg some snow boots at Target. He loves them. They are super warm and cushiony.

{{Ginger}} Sorry about the tooth.

Cool plan, Toddson. I like that.

This year the extended family here did name drawing/spend less than $10.00, which is working out pretty well. I have to do that shopping still, but that will be next weekend.

Luckily, I was there fairly early in the day on a weekday - not crowded at all! And they had something for my hair I haven't been able to get in town, so I was a happy camper. And on the way back, on Metro, I had someone look at my bag and ask where the Target was.

Beej - last year, were you the one asking about small quantities of egg nog? 'cause I was in Safeway last night and they had the pint bottles.

So far, Target is the only store I've found the Candy Cane Hershey's Kisses at. I would love them for that alone. Our Targets aren't big enough to have shopping cart escalators, but I'm thinking I've seen one before and just can't remember where.

I want to be awake, too. I have coffee, but it's not helping. I think more sleep would have been more effective.

Dang Todd! You've got an incredible memory. I waslooking for small quantities of egg nog...portion control being a problem and all...thanks for the tip.

I'm also interested in finding a home-made recipe. Much as I love, love, love the thick, creamy, unmessy, commercial kind...Fela is giving the avoidance of highfructosecornsyrup a valient attempt and, so far, we haven't found any without.

Ima get some of the good stuff on the sly though...to Safeway I go.

Beej, Alton Brown has two recipes, one that involves cooking and one without.
