Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
After much trial and error, ND and I have found the best local Indian food. I just put in an order for take out and I am soooooo excited to pick it up and eat it. So excited that I'm practically drooling.
Oh, and speaking of drooling, my new dentist told me today that I have apparently started grinding my teeth rather badly at night and am causing damage...so she wants me to wear nightgear. I could cry. People, I hurt myself enough that Drew made
not
hurting myself "Rule #1"--do we really think wearing a hard metal thing on my head as I sleep is a good idea??
Also, am really freaked about not being able to sleep well with this contraption. Sleep is difficult enough for me. Also also, am totally feeling embarassed and dorky about it. This is my karmic payback for not having to have braces as a kid, isn't it.
Sigh.
and Cass - your family gives you enough trouble - you get to go home christmas day because I said so.
beth wins!
And I subtly let Dad know I was leaving Christmas night when I called to let him know I would be there for my stepmom's birthday. Wasn't thrilled but it's a done deal. I can't wait for January. My inner grinch bails about then.
Now I just need to decide what is for dinner.
I was thinking there was nothing with my SSN on it until DH reminded me of my health insurance card. I think I covered all the bases as far as notification goes. Security alerts with the credit bureau and stuff. Hopefully overkill. It doesn't look like he tried to use anything.
Ick Kristin. I sleep badly too and can't imagine. Get braces! Your girls will love it.
{{{Laura}}} That brazen fuckwad deserves some severe pain and suffering. I hope they catch him or he gets the cosmic ass-bite he's got coming soon.
I had my purse stolen in high school and I can still recall some of the personal items that were lost forever. Sometimes, the thoughts will just pop up and I still get pissed about it. That kind of violation lingers for a long time.
17 Laura? Okay, as great a number as that is, perhaps to take this as an opportunity to consolidate?
Yay for your sister. My dad is probably nearing 50 down now. I should think about something to commemorate.
I want JZ's dresses so much. But even when I'm not carrying the extra that I am now, I'm not that waisty.
vw, squeeing is always appropriate, and those are both very squee-worthy.
Kristin, did they specify the metal? I have a night guard (and I wear it all the time) (honest), for the same reason, and it's just an in mouth plastic thing.
Eesh, Kristin. No fun. Is a night guard (you know, a plastic thing that goes in your mouth, sort of like boxers wear, I think) not an option? I wore on of those for a while, and it wasn't too bad.
Also, is the legendary punch recipe super secret? I admit, I'm kind of dying of curiosity.
ETA: Mouth guard x-post, huh? Not my most exciting ever.
Yuck mouth guards but I think not grinding your teeth could lead to more better sleep than the oddness of wearing it takes away.

I felt like that each time my car was stolen. I had a binder of journals in the trunk of one and I still think of it to this day. Last night even. I can't get those things back...
If the punch recipe isn't secret it should be. It should be locked in a vault nobody knows the combination to.
See, that just makes me want it more.
