The weather's supposed to push nearly into the 60's today. Which means we're going to the park.
Last night, Owen pulled the hood of his Halloween costume out of the laundry basket and insisted on wearing it around the house and through dinner. I was a little frightened by the wee elephant running about on election night but it doesn't appear to have had any national effect so it's all good. I did take a picture with my camera phone and sent it to a friend waiting in line to vote.
Maybe he was warding them off, Cashmere.
It's supposed to reach a high of 80 here today. In November. I'm so freaking confused right now. And of course all of my summer clothes are stashed away for the year and my feet are not fit to be seen in sandals. Lame weather.

I thought I wasn't going to have therapy because my therapist's wife's due date is coming up, and my therapist said he mostlikely wouldn't be there this week. I called him, and he just called me back to say he was there today. I was just getting used to the idea of staying in bed wth my aching back.
They fucking approved the gay marriage ban. WTF? This is a blue effing state! We're liberals!
We're obviously from different parts of Wisconsin.
The state I grew up in and the state I've lived in for the past 18 years have both declared me a second-class citizen. Bleah.
I really, really hoped Wisconsin was poised to break the trend. At least Arizona seems to have. (Thanks, erika!)
Damn. The governor of RI was re-elected. He ran the first time as "a former teacher", and then he totally screwed over the teachers in his first time. Hate him.

Heh. Um, okay. Odd proposal.
I *believe* Colorado results are still pending on the gay marriage ban. I should go check my news sites again though.
ETA: Fuck! Cancel that. Colorado banned gay marriage and totally shot down Ref. I. So pissed.
We had a "professional clown" running for mayor. I haven't seen our local results yet. Off to hunt them down...
I'm pleased with most of the results here.
Just balanced my checkbook. I'm off $4.93. Now, I expected it to be off, 'cause I was off $4.95 the last time. But, now there's that extra $0.02. It's gonna drive me nuts!
