Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Gronklies, my lovelies. I had to skip. We all survived election day?

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Yeah, though my car may be a victim of pre-election excitement. It's at the shop and I'm taking a forced home day (only without the benefit of doing any work).

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

There is something dreadfully unfair about having to get up early for a staff meeting on what is supposed to be my day off.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

It's supposed to get to 67 outside today. Really don't want to be at work. And I don't think I want to be in the state of WI. They fucking approved the gay marriage ban. WTF? This is a blue effing state! We're liberals! Aarrrrrgggghhh! Also, they passed a measure to reinstate the death penalty. The caveat is that they must have positive DNA proof that the person is guilty, but I still don't think it's right. At least we reelected our Democratic governor, barely.

Ailleann, sorry to hear about your car trouble.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Ailleann, I hope the car gets better. That sucks.

Andi, days off should be just that. Off.

The weather's supposed to push nearly into the 60's today. Which means we're going to the park.

Last night, Owen pulled the hood of his Halloween costume out of the laundry basket and insisted on wearing it around the house and through dinner. I was a little frightened by the wee elephant running about on election night but it doesn't appear to have had any national effect so it's all good. I did take a picture with my camera phone and sent it to a friend waiting in line to vote.

What is even happening?

Maybe he was warding them off, Cashmere.

I'm getting the pig!

It's supposed to reach a high of 80 here today. In November. I'm so freaking confused right now. And of course all of my summer clothes are stashed away for the year and my feet are not fit to be seen in sandals. Lame weather.

However... Car~ma and Extra Quick Staff Meeting~ma!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

It's rainy and icky here today.

Car~ma Aillean.

Windsparrow, meetings on your day off suck.

I thought I wasn't going to have therapy because my therapist's wife's due date is coming up, and my therapist said he mostlikely wouldn't be there this week. I called him, and he just called me back to say he was there today. I was just getting used to the idea of staying in bed wth my aching back.
