You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

There's some very cute swimsuit shops down by the Hermosa Beach pier. Pricey, though I did get a real bargain at one of the costume shops a while back, surfer shorts and a bikini top for $19.99.

Deena - My supervisor changed within the last year and "no one informed her" of the deal that was finally made. I never got cc'ed in writing on the final decision, so I don't have anything to forward (I will make sure I get it in writing this year so we don't go through this again). Instead of waiting for her to research, I called the HR rep at corporate who had been involved last year and asked her to look it up and "inform" my boss.

I have told all those I work with that if they don't stick with the deal then I want the salaried position and different work. Will see what happens. The team I'm on has good incentive to keep me happy right now. Will see if they do. I'm giving the HR gal until Monday before I start poking again.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Good for you suzi. I'm sorry things have been so fubar'd. I hope they get it right this time.

Eesh, Suzi, that sucks.

Me, I'm having a v. good 24 hours. I was feeling all bitter and depressed yesterday afternoon. But then, I got home from work, took a nap, saw a great show, had some girl kissage, slept, got up on time, found out I"m being switched to a new project at work (which I"m excited by), worked out....all good yay! And tomorrow, I'm taking a three day weekend!

I had a feeling this was going to happen but still got pissed and upset when it did. Silly.

To add to the general fun in our house - Mom's car died a few days ago. She had it towed to a garage and it needed a new gas pump (?) and new brakes. She has no money other than her social security. Guess who got to pay the almost $900 service bill? Merry #(&#@#^ Christmas.

So tired of the doom and gloom. Someone link me to something totally silly. Please.

Oh, and Hi everybody.

Who had the bright idea to try to catch up on some history before posting again? Oh yeah, that was me. DUM.

Starting tomorrow, a little post, a little catch-up.

And maybe a little work, too, if I feel really inspired.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Why does Kittenish insist on sitting on me? She's never been a lap kind of cat but damn if she hasn't been like this for days and days. And not even my lap, because it's all computered, she's on my chest. Or near my shoulder. Or against my face.
