To add to the general fun in our house - Mom's car died a few days ago. She had it towed to a garage and it needed a new gas pump (?) and new brakes. She has no money other than her social security. Guess who got to pay the almost $900 service bill? Merry #(&#@#^ Christmas.

It's been sadly missing in my life too. BUT, she called my friend today to get my #, then called me, and we are probably going on a DATE next week. A DATE! I dont' remember the last time I had a DATE!!

Why does Kittenish insist on sitting on me? She's never been a lap kind of cat but damn if she hasn't been like this for days and days. And not even my lap, because it's all computered, she's on my chest. Or near my shoulder. Or against my face.
