Simon: I swear when it's appropriate. Kaylee: Simon, the whole point of swearing is that it ain't appropriate.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

The night always is. (I, otoh, am ununimpressed.)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

She *was* dancing to "Peek-a-Boo", but iTunes wouldn't let Joe import it to use.
So wonderful! Emeline is just too cute for words. I am wordless. Wee Siouxsie Em!

He pointed forbidingly at the night as he exclaimed, "I forbid it!"
Shouldn't he have some superpowers by now? Because I like the way he's thinking.

And I am now caught up so I won't be posting so many posts all in a row.

(vw) Hope you are feeling better in the morning!

Umm, the thing is until we put sanctions on Iraq had an OK health care system. And until we invaded it had a semi-functional health care system. That does not change how good it was that this baby's life was saved.
Yes, it should be said. Wonderful that they baby was able to get medical care and it made me sniffle up but good, but we sort of helped the destruction along. We break it, we buy it.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Teppy, Emmett was reminding me of you on our walk from the car to the apartment tonight.

"It is TOO EARLY for it to be dark. I forbid it! Bring back my sun!"

Imagine the appropriate "Khan!" gestures for the last sentence.

Heh. I approve wholeheartedly.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

hi went to an open mike. Sadly, everyone was good ( this is so not normal for an open mike) , if not all to my taste. DH went back to a friends to play guitar - I got to go home, which I though was all good. Then I remembered it is garbage night - and once again I have to take it out. but after i do that I'll have another glass of wine.

Aww. Cutehead Emmett. And I like the pipecleaner stars idea! Hanging them from the ceiling would be fun.

And I managed ot get up from my nap and go to the king show (10th anniversary of the first king show in DC!) and it was good. And a friend of a friend is newly single. And the friends we have in common were all telling me this going "She's single! She needs someone to make out with! We should find her someone!" Not sure if they were actually intending me to help out with that, but I rather suspect they were. So I obliged. :) Fun!!

What is even happening?

Somervillain alert: Anyone with kids or who knows someone with kids who's even vaguely thinking of children's theater sometime over the holidays, please let me pimp my friend Shelley's show (he's second from the left in the picture). Jen has met him, at his wedding last summer, and can attest to his thorough niceness (also, though it's not relevant to this particular show, he wears a kilt quite nicely), and DX has seen a show he was in several years back and can attest to his being theatrically made of awesome (also, possibly a Cindy sprog or friend of same saw him in A Christmas Story last year).

JZ, I don't know if you'll ever see this, but if you do, yes, the oldest sprog, and my mother, saw him in A Christmas Story, last year, and loved it.

Also, insent (well, in about 5 minutes) to your profile addy.
