Tara: 'Your One-Stop Spot to Shop for Lots of New-Age and Occult Items.' Catchy. Giles: Think so? Tara: Uh huh. In a... hard to say sorta way.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Maybe it's just taking its sweet time meandering across the Internets?

The pipes have filled up!!!!!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Good thing there are cute kids. Because they are saveing me...

t rant December kills me every year with all the money issuses. (propety taxes, gift buying ( and shipping) , anniversary) I always feel like I am falling behind- But things get back to normal by February every year. So this is fine, this is normal. There is no need to fret myself to death. But I hate digging into savings for things - even though it only happens because we do spend more. but we make up for it. crazy crazy crazy makeing. t /rant

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

ChiKat, get outta my head! I, too, have no motivation because I am out of here and I had trouble leaving the electric blanket this morning for a cold apartment! (Although we had no heat because I'm too cheap to turn it on.)

My head is an okay place to be in right now. I'm all Wheee!!! and not thinking hard. I'm okay with the no motivation thing even though I'm sure my employers may feel differently.

You live in the Bay Area, so I suspect it's not as cold there as here right now. I was COLD. I hope to heaven I have heat today as the temps are supposed to drop even more.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

But, just when I think it's all been a waste, a story like this comes across my desk. And it gives me hope that maybe we're doing *some* good.

Umm, the thing is until we put sanctions on Iraq had an OK health care system. And until we invaded it had a semi-functional health care system. That does not change how good it was that this baby's life was saved. But I don't want to let the illusion that "maybe this war did some good" to pass unchallenged, cause I would like to stop the next one against Iran or Syria or Venezuela or Cuba or whoever the U. S. nominates as the new Most-Evil-Nation-Evah.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Good lord, what cute kids! With the swooping, and the tree, and the boxing at the toys!

But now there's this country called "France" which...I don't get.

Joe, you just admitted partial responsibility for the existence of France. Pete will now never stop mocking you.

brillig

Oh, hell, I've just lost a filling. There is zero--0--money in the budget for dental work. Fortunately it just aches, doesn't scream. Bugger.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'll have to go back and look at all the cute pictures when I'm home.

I went to therapy this morning and then did some Christmas shopping. It would have helped if I had brought my list with me.
