But, just when I think it's all been a waste, a story like this comes across my desk. And it gives me hope that maybe we're doing *some* good.
Umm, the thing is until we put sanctions on Iraq had an OK health care system. And until we invaded it had a semi-functional health care system. That does not change how good it was that this baby's life was saved. But I don't want to let the illusion that "maybe this war did some good" to pass unchallenged, cause I would like to stop the next one against Iran or Syria or Venezuela or Cuba or whoever the U.

I went to therapy this morning and then did some Christmas shopping. It would have helped if I had brought my list with me.
Connie, are there any dental schools in your area? Sometimes dental schools will do free dental care & filling replacement. You just have to be okay with letting a student do the work.
