Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I think looking at Buffista kids is now my official happy place.

People who are hurty - hope you get some relief soon.

Ya know how on your day off (but which isn't really a day off as there is a mandatory staff meeting at 9am, well make that two mandatory staff meetings at 9 am in different towns and the big boss told you to go to the one further away), you wake up at six o'fuckingclock in the morning, and you think, "Hey, I'm awake, I might as well clean the bathroom," and then you go to rinse out the bathtub only to find that the cheap plastic container you've been using for a year and a half for that purpose is gone, so you try to use the shower head to rinse it out, and get soaked? Also, the 'c' key on this keyboard doesn't work, so in order to type my masterfully run-on sentence, I had to copy a 'c' from my clipboard eight times. Not that that is a huge problem, but it sure messes up the zen of my typing.

Ok, I feel better now.

ETA: a vital point to my rant.

There was stuff. And then there were pictures of Matilda and Emmett. And now I'm dead. So, everyone gets hugs and kisses from the grave of dead from the cuteness of Buffista kids.

Also, I fell an skinned my knee this morning. In the middle of Boylston Street. As the light was changing. Fortunately, I was not hit. Stupid feet not knowing how to run when there's only 10 seconds left before the walk sign goes away.

Also, it stings.

Last also, I have an icky girly test this afternoon. Mom is taking me, because they told me I will have "mild cramping" after the test. In my experience, this means, "You're going to hurt like hell, so don't plan on doing anything for the rest of the day, besides pulling on a bathrobe and drinking a cup of tea--that someone else makes for you. Then, drug yourself to sleep and have that person help you into bed."

OH! Deena! I'm glad your dinner was a success! I'm sorry you got hurty, though. That part's not so good. Oh, and meanie Target for not having that teapot!

AND! Yay for Anne's heat being back on!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Matilda is getting even cuter and Emmett looks like such a wonderful big brother! Too adorable. I'm glad that Hec and JZ have a digital camera now, because we obviously need more of these pictures.

Tea:

I'm sorry you skinned your knee, vw. Good luck with your appointment.

Deena! I am glad the party went well, and I hope that the hurting has gone away.

Yes this!

Also, war sucks.

This. It really does. But, just when I think it's all been a waste, a story like this comes across my desk. And it gives me hope that maybe we're doing *some* good.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Wow, vw, that is lovely. I couldn't read it all (eta: because my emotions are all teetery and the children are home).

This morning I had trouble walking for the first hour and I'm very tired, but I'm walking fine now and the only significant pain is in my right knee, so I'm doing amazingly well considering how busy yesterday was. Also? My house is clean because we cleaned it for the company yesterday and Greg did the dishes last night after I fell asleep. SO nice to have a clean house, leftovers in the fridge, the memory of a good dinner.

I'm teetering on the edge of diving past my limit--the last couple of weeks have been grueling--so I let the kids have a "day off" today. That way I could give Greg the car and not have to drive anywhere. It's nice to just rest a bit and start slowly. In a little bit, though, I have to get busy and do some paying work. Invoice due tomorrow or I don't get paid this cycle and that would be bad for Christmas.

Indeed!

Our wings are not tired.

A peaceful painfree day to you Deena.

I'm working at home today. So, I really should get to the actual work stuff.
