Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Poor Legion, that cat can't buy a break.

Puppycat was in front of the fire the other night when the log popped and sprayed wee little flameballs out. She was ... not pleased. I didn't know she could look betrayed but she can! Luckily should be over it by now as I think it's been three days and her memory can't go back farther than that.

Because books.

Um, that's all. Just happy to see you.

And so are you! Yay!

In honor of the seriously wintry weather outside, we're having chili for dinner. The children are having theirs topped with mac and cheese. It may sound strange, but they love it. I should get started on that...

Punishingly Intricate

BOOK: "River..? Please, why don't you come on out..." RIVER: "No. Can't. Too much hair." - 'Jaynestown'

Standard Veterinary Exam: $54
Rabies Vaccination (1 year): $20.50
FVRCP Vaccination (3 years): $20.50
Feline Leukemia Vaccine: $20.50
Flourescein Eye Stain: $25.50
Neo/Polymyacin Antibiotic Eye Drops: $9.00

Knowing my best feline friend is healthy and up to date on all his vaccinations: Priceless.

(ION, The Bean is now down to a svelte 12.1 lbs. He weighed in two years ago at about 18 lbs. A one-year old boy kitten and space for them to wrestle and run have made all the difference!)

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Oooh. I think I'm going to go get some gumbo tonight.

2 more hours to go.

We have to get our girl kitties spayed. IT's $250 each at the local vet. Is that outrageous? It certainly FEELS outrageous.

Love the tacklehugs!

Lisah, I have to admit, I will probably put a dollop on mine, too.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

That seems very high. You might want to check with local shelters to see if they will spay for a discount. Some around here do that.
