Puppycat was in front of the fire the other night when the log popped and sprayed wee little flameballs out. She was ... not pleased. I didn't know she could look betrayed but she can! Luckily should be over it by now as I think it's been three days and her memory can't go back farther than that.

In honor of the seriously wintry weather outside, we're having chili for dinner. The children are having theirs topped with mac and cheese. It may sound strange, but they love it. I should get started on that...

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

That seems very high. You might want to check with local shelters to see if they will spay for a discount. Some around here do that.
