Giles: I jump out of the circle, jump back in, and, and, shake my gourd. Buffy: Hey, I think I know this ritual. The ancient shamans were next called upon to do the Hokey-Pokey and to turn themselves around.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Because books.

Yay ChiKat!

I loved The Borrowers. It makes me so giddy to think of the books I get to introduce Sara to when the time comes.

I wish the underpants gnome would visit Britney Spears' house and drop off a few pairs.

I wished I hadn't looked at those pictures. If I were her mother, I would spank her.

Also, Stephen found a blog called What Would Tyler Durden Do? (I believe it's wwtdd.com), which cracks me up. It had extensive Brit pictures, though, which wasn't as funny.

{{{Nora}}}

I get that way a lot actually. Especially lately.

Case in point: One of our portable phones was retired recently when we got the digital phone, and after a day or so it started its dying battery beeping. Very annoying. I put it on a bookshelf, out of the way, to keep it from driving us all insane, at about midnight. Next morning, I find it in the boys' room, on Ben's dresser. Neither of the boys admitted to putting it there -- and really, why would they, annoying beeping was SO annoying, and un-turn-off-able -- and neither Stephen or I could figure out how it got there.

Unless it was crazy!BiL, which is just ... creepy and immature and stupid.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

yay ChiKat!

I throw on clothes in the am - then have to change for my job in the afternoon and often change again when I get home. Today , I would like a wardrobe consultant. Sometimes that is the hardest part about going to work....

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

We're getting the locks replaced. It is something we have been meaning to do from the time we moved in, but never got around to. At least we will have peace of mind on that front the next the the Borrowers come a-calling.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

When we saw the wolves, who were playing chase, Mal pointed and said "Arf! Arf!"
Love the Mal stories. Just love them.

Sorry for the stress, Nora. When you get a hold of the Borrowers, will you ask where my slim phone battery is? I have looked everywhere. And there are no people here to play mean, sick, fucked up tricks on me. Except the cats, of course.

Learned that falling asleep in front of the fireplace is only a good idea if you are a cat. And not, say, a human whose neck likes to go crinky. The stretching and stuff has nearly got it back to working order but, sheesh, it was only a couple hours of dozing and I broke me. I hate when I do that. This is why I am not allowed to have the cool body.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Yay ChiKat!

Nora, we used to blame it on Nick all the time, but now he's almost never here. It's quite annoying to have no one to blame. Thank heavens Kara's figured out how to climb chairs and things.

I've been designing a site rebuild for a client. He's crazy like a crazy thing that doesn't have a drop of fox. I've talked him down from some ideas and agreed to some others I think are.. well, crazy. It's made for lots of hours (yay christmas!) and a disturbingly cranky-making lack of sleep. And we're less than halfway done!

I miss you guys. I fell asleep on the keyboard catching up last night. Today I've been on strike, at least for the last few hours.

I still get blamed for missing things at Mom's house, and I haven't lived there for years.
