Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Icky, Cass!
JZ, I've been there. It does get better, once the pressure eases off a little.
I mean, I even had a blog about Baby and Money Stuff, but I'm neglecting it because OMG, WINCHESTERS! OMG, PINSTRIPE PANTS! OMG, REALLY CRAPPY DARK ANGEL FANFIC ADDICTION! YAYS!
So trust me, it improves. In the meantime, vent. We will find ways to distract you, like by talking about how cute your perfectly normal human worm baby is, and stuff.
Huh. The cream seems to have calmed my back. Love my sensitive skin. Could have been gobbled by bugs, could have found something to touch that made me itch, could have been an errant molecule. There are wee bumps, so contact allergy seems likely. Or a curse. Craziness.
JZ, listen to Plei for she is wise and porny and way literate.
I just got a Levenger catalog, which included the information that there's a Levenger store opening nearby sometime in December. This will be so horrible for my bank account. (At least it's not easily metro-accessible.)
oh dear. Your bank account and my bank account can go to therapy together
This has not been my favorite day.
however, I will share the best part of the day. One of our slightly off -center library patrons came in today. all happy when we got the the answer to her question. her actual response: " I love the library. When God doesn't give me the answer, I come here."
Hee.
Wow, I am really undone. I went to the bookstore after work which involved waiting for a bus in the cold. . . while wearing my less than warmest coat and having the bus be 30 minutes late because it was in a fender bender! Standing and waiting for the bus is tiring for my sore leg. So is walking to and around stores. So is walking home from the bus stop. When I got home my apartment was cold. And I was so damn cold it took me like 3 hours to warm up. I hope my apartment will still be warm tomorrow morning. (I can hear the radiator in the bathroom hissing away.)
And it has started to snow. And I can't not be at work tomorrow so the buses better be running.
And dealing with the boiler meant that I missed a totally cool (apparently) promo for next week's new SPN.
And GA made me cry. Not sure why. Possibly just exhaustion.
I'm going to bed.
oh dear. Your bank account and my bank account can go to therapy together
Heh. It's at Tyson's Corner, so not totally close by, but not totally far away, either.
As long as that hair-lash was for halloween, I'm okay with it. If not, I don't want to know.
Man, I need to call my hair guy tomorrow.
(But it won't affect my lashes either way.)
Yeah, it comes back, but I still find that I talk on and on about the baby and this whole weird thing that is parenthood whenever given an opening.
BTW, I've decided that becoming a parent is as big a change as puberty, and similarly hormonally programmed. I'm as different a person now from 3 years ago as between 11 and 14, with as little control over the changes. I think I may notice it more than people who have their children shortly after puberty or even in their 20s, but dang whoa.
Well, it's official. We are going to DC for our next tour. DCistas, look out for us! I suspect we'll be living in Reston, though.
All the cool kids are heading for DC.
Tonight CJ asked me what a condom was. And while he didn't settle for the simple explanation, he seemed a bit grossed out at the concept by the time the discussion was done. I tried to be informative, not too TMI, but not sure I judged his readiness well enough. Parenthood = fun.
We are going to DC for our next tour.
