[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I've heard it said that you can get
Some heat in Irish pubs.

Servin' Jameson to an Orangeman
And Bushmill's to his cuz.

Here's what ya do: with Tullamore Dew
You can meet 'em both halfway.

It's time to switch to whiskey,
They've been drinkin' beer all day.

Whatcha want, Laga?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm neither Catholic nor Protestant. They all sound good to me, or how about a Lagavulin?

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for italics!

Lift your glasses in the direction of Florida while you are at it. Despite my Irish roots I'm a wino. I lift my glass of Merlot and toast the lovely Bitches.

eta: drat, italics gone. I should put them back again.

I need to remember what Colbert called Catholics last night. I think he said Roman Catholic was the Microsoft of Christianity. Not sure if Mom will like that or not.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I just watched it, laughed, and can't remember.

UPS just brought me games! I am seeing a fantastic time sink in my future.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

You're right, Laura, I just watched it.

eta: No longer slanty!

The microsoft of christianity? Hmmm....people kinda want to switch, but are too intimidated/lazy/used to it to bother?

Thanks for the suggestions/advice, y'all! See, the thing is (vaguely TMI girlybits) the last two really bad painful pukey migraines were both the next to last or last day of my period. So it's possible it's my BCP causing it. I could (a) skip the placebo pills entirely (though only for so long, cause I'd run out after a bit) or (b) quit taking the Pill (though I like it for my skin, and the control freak factor). IF that's the cause. The thing being, I'm not sure exactly what day it would hit...it might be Christmas Eve or Christmas (which would actually be OK in that I'd be on vacation anyway)...or it might be the day I'm driving 12 hours with a friend home. Which would be super super inconvenient and all. Which makes me think I should skip the placebos this month, and wait until January. And hope I don't get one.

But that would just be one thing, I've gotten other migraines too, obviously.
