Yeah, but at least you can have it trimmed. I can't make up material out of thin air!
You can get a tailor to add a wide band (or ruffle) of lace to the hem. 5" wide lace is easy to find on eBay ...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That particular one could be professionally altered, I suppose, but angled pleats are way too complicated for my feeble sewing skills. And actually, most of the things I want to buy that are too long for me can't be altered because they are not just too long on my legs, but also on my waist and hips. Most irking.
38" long skirts hit me right at my ankle, provided that they are fitted to the waist. However, since I have the Short Waist O' Dooooooooom, fitted waists tend to be very uncomfortable. (Seriously, the jacket I lent Jilli goes to mid-hip. It's insane. No off-the-rack bustiers for me!)
It's almost like juliana and I are the same person.

Nah. You have a better rack.
You have better hair and skin.
It all works out.
I seem to have turned up between Aimée & Juliana's
discussion of
racks.
Heh.
Yes, cold outside. High of 33 today. Low of 18. This + ice + hills = bloody tricky travelling.
Cheeky.
Now we're talking asses?
Yes, I think I have set myself up for an obvious punchline...
Well, your IS quite adorable.
