'Beneath You'

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Awwww, thank you, Daisy Jane!

I hope you're having a good birthday.

I need a Lady of the Manners to run my life.

But that leads to things like being told you're not leaving the house until you put on some eyeliner and lipstick, and hearing rants about how back in MY day we had to walk uphill in the snow *both ways* just to buy stripy tights.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

But that leads to things like being told you're not leaving the house until you put on some eyeliner and lipstick

Some days I need that.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The snow is your fault, isn't it?

And, to think, I am even wearing both eyeliner and lipstick. I feel so betrayed.

But I took pictures of it anyway.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

The snow? Or the eyeliner?

I did NOT summon the snow demons this time. Not that anyone believes me, but I really didn't.

The snow. It's just everyday eyeliner.

I did NOT summon the snow demons this time. Not that anyone believes me, but I really didn't.
No, I believe you.

I'll just have to go find someone new to blame now...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Seems like the perfect opportunity to blame Canada.

Good point. It's them or Alaska, and I am not motivated to write a new song when a perfectly good one already exists.

BOOK: "River..? Please, why don't you come on out..." RIVER: "No. Can't. Too much hair." - 'Jaynestown'

I miss snow. And having a Christmas tree.

On the flipside, this year I get to visit family in MI for five days, including Christmas day (albeit late in the day). This will be my first Christmas at home in three years. Stupid work.

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Belated Birthdays Sparky! and Daisy Jane!

Just returned from Thanksgiving today -- had much fun and a good amount of turkey. Plus, much playing with dogs and hanging out and also went to see the new Bond film.
