Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

It's official. Job is moving to Simi. 30 miles away.

SUCKS! I'm sorry, Aims.

Because books.

That sucks, Aimee. Anyone you can carpool with?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Nope. Best I can hope for is that they'll let me work 6-3. It's against traffic, so it's not like I'll be sitting on the 118 all day, everyday. I just...I took the job to be closer to home and to Em. To be shoved far awat from her again just bugs. And we want to stay in this area - B is having her baby soon, I don't want to take Em out of her daycare again, gas will KILL us. But, I really don't have a choice.

We aren't moving for about 6 months and by then, I'm hoping to get a) a raise and b) a little more than a raise to cover the gas costs.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Are you considering looking for another job, Aimee?

That does suck. And I bet the traffic out there makes the thirty miles that much longer. Sorry, babe.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

And she has them. Guys. Who do....stuff.

I really do. Mostly they drink. But they do other stuff.

Aims, that blows. I'm sorry.

No, not really. I love it here. I love my bosses and I love the company. G said he could be flexible as long as business hours were covered. Since I has to drop her kids off at 7:30, she won't be there until just after 8, so she'll be staying til 5. I think they'll let me do 6-3. Or maybe 7-4.

Then again, it all depends on what job Joe gets and what his hours will be.

Bah.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

How's Emmett dealing?

Okay. He's sad that he can't see Aidan. I can't imagine it's good to see his Mom a nervous wreck, barricading her door every night and sleeping with a lead pipe next to the bed.

Nope. Not good at all.

I feel so sorry for Aidan, too, though. Sounds like he has no one right now, with his mom gone and EM gone, and his dad turned psycho stalker guy. Poor kid.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

And, we aren't having an office Christmas party, to boot.

Pshaw.
