We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm just waiting for the endless barrage of increasingly nasty campaign ads to end. I've found that when someone asks about how I feel about the election results, if I'm not sure of their position, it's always safe to say "I'm so glad it's over!"

I loved the ad Jon Stewart showed accusing some guy's opponent of voting to taser 7-year-old kids. The expression on the 'I don't want to be tasered" moppet's face was priceless.

Now tagless for your comfort.

It's all over but the counting. And the lawsuits. And the crying. And finger pointing.

But I got my sticker.

Oof. Emmett kills me with his maturity and awareness.

Oh hell yeah. Though the Allen and Webb ones were starting to get kind of amusing. I particularly liked the big "Censored" stickover over the novel.

How old young?

I'm 27, he's 18.

For a minute there I actually thought I was 28. WTF is wrong with me? I'm not even close to 28 yet. Clearly I need more coffee.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Timelies.

Emmett is a dear.

Teppy rocks my world.

Ailleann - he is legal.

Today is jam packed full of fun. Fought the fog to get to work, we have a program audit today, then I will vote on my way home, plus I have to remember to stop and get an anniversary card for DH. The brain already hurts.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm 27, he's 18.

My first marriage I was 18 and he was 27.

The ads have been horrible. I don't watch tv enough to have Tivo, but I don't think I will be able to survive without it for the 2008 round. I watched Heroes (for the first time live) last night and every single break was politics, nasty politics. There has to be a better way.

Oh, I know. But it's my friend's cousin, and it feels a little icky.

We were discussing the interview he has with Hollister today. They have people who just stand around the store and look pretty. Therefore, I got tickets to the gun show.

Art Crawl!!!

Lovely Emmett story - yet bittersweet.

Meanwhile, I just did that thing that you shouldn't do, i.e., answer an email to all when you meant to answer to one.

Oops.

Luckily, this should proof more annoying than anything else.

Ailleann, Special Hell is populated by some of the best people. You won't be alone.

Argh. An email list that I'm on for birthright israel alumni, one that's usually just "Guess what! I got a new job!" or "You're all invited to my party!" or "Here's a neat-sounding event for young Jewish singles!" or stuff like that, has become a whole bunch of political debate in the past few days. Most of us on the list are Democrats, with just a few Republicans, and so far it's just been three emails, but that's three more political emails than there have been since this list was started a year and a half ago. And I know that this latest email (which is essentially "Here's why the Democrats represent the Jewish position on just about everything better than the Republicans do") is going to bring forth a bunch more debate.
