Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I can't think of anything rational to say, libkitty. I want to blast your mom, and it certainly would not make her a better person, so I'm just gonna offer {{{{{{{{{{}}}}}}}}}}} to you.

sometimes I just want to shake her and say "Do you think I MISSED THE PART WHERE I'M FAT?!?

Although I hate long messages on my answering machine, now that you mention it, it is perhaps all for the best that there wasn't a live connection.

I'm glad the BiL thing is working out relatively well, Cash, and hope DH gets fixed up quick when he sees the doctor.

There is some middle ground between gently encouraging and voicing concern with your loved ones and being horribly critical and naggy and making someone feel like shit.

I know that this can be tricky, so I hate to be too harsh, but every now and then...

MM has a twin living in Mesa and posting on DemocraticMatch.com. I'm still tripping on it.

I'm lucky in that my family can take it if I flip out and lose my composure with them--usually screaming I understand my own faults and shortcomings without having them pointed out to me by someone who loves me but hates said shortcomings.

We've all managed to come to an...arrangement.

Has anyone else here had sinus problems that seem to affect the teeth? It sounds reasonable to me, if a little weird and hurty.

Oh, I'm right smack in the middle of the very thing. It sucks big wang, but it's just sinus-y stuff (vs. abcessed teeth/tumor/alien in skull).

Or maybe he has a dental problem affecting his sinuses. Could be, though.

He was just at the dentist a month or so ago and there weren't any problems. It seems to clear right up after he takes a hot shower and it came in with this nasty rain/cold front. So I assume he's at the mercy of the barometer and the muccous membranes in his skull.

Yes. I actually went to the dentist one time, because I thought I had a tooth problem. He said that the root of a tooth actually touched the sinus cavity, which was not a problem physically but which explained why I felt the pain in my teeth.

And that's how I know -- I have an alien in MY skull!
