Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

W/o the Buffistas, Nora and Tom wouldn't be married, either.

ND and Kristen wouldn't be living together. K. might still be in Conn, ita might still be in Michigan. Juliana might still be...um, not in SF.

I would never have been to Chi or LA.

LOTS of other things would never have happened!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Erin, alas, I have yet to meet you IRL.

Teppy, my first impression of you was about how self-possessed you seemed.

This is very much what I was about to say. You also seemed like you'd be easy to be around.

Hec, I was impressed by just how animated you were. That, and a killer sense of style. Very cool, and yet approachable.

(I have to admit, I'm also curious to know people's first impressions about me, especially if they were different from what you'd assumed from online interactions)

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Scary thought, all those things that might not have happened. I'm still waiting for a first impression of Erin; looking forward to it immensely. Teppy amazed me with her sense of style from the first time I saw her at the SF airport. I need to take her shopping with me.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hec, You talked faster and at a higher pitch than I expected

My fast talking ways are usually the first impression people have of me.

but your wicked but kind smile is just what I thought it would be. You also have a wonderful positive energy in person that is a pleasure to be around.

I felt instantly at ease with you and Jason. You have that thing that Laura has of just radiating warmth. Amazing smile, always cool hair. You have a very earthy sexuality that comes through. You might as well be wearing a t-shirt that says, "Scrappy Really Enjoys Sex." Witty and playful in conversation. Dag! Now I'm missing you.

The horror!

Oh wait, you mean if I hadn't moved.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I find it impossible to separate people's identities from their voices now. And I love that I can hear the way someone would say something, too.

Knew Holli and SA and Lizard when they were still in high school.

So scary to think. I was buff diving the other day and came across a COMM of me and Holli talking amongst our insomnia back in high school. Them was the days. Days I'd never go back to in a million years.

You were very pretty! We're kind of used to that now, but I don't think you'd been so generous with pictures of yourself before people met you. You were making a case for spinsterhood, and it seemed at odds with your physical person. You were very glam at prom. Also, you had a nice air of self-possession. It was clear that the muchness of the Buffistas was a little overwhelming to you, but you didn't seem shy. I was jealous that JZ got to go off with you in a smaller group in SF.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

(I have to admit, I'm also curious to know people's first impressions about me, especially if they were different from what you'd assumed from online interactions)

I found you both foamy and friendly, both of which I expected from the online experience! Also a little quiet and soft-spoken, which I also didn't think was surprising for some reason.

Now everyone do me. It's affirmation weekend.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Now everyone do me. It's affirmation weekend.

I think I expected you to be more serious, but every time I saw you, you were a bundle of energy -- bordering on mischief -- with that great smile. Plus, you're pretty foxy.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Not really.

eta - that was not in reply to Teppy's comment.
