I figured the gas prices were being run up in anticipation of Thanksgiving travel.

I vote friends of Dubya's & Deadeye Dick's in the oil industry giving the country a little payback for the thumping on election day, but I'm suspicious *coughparanoidcough* like that.

My cynical and anti-capitalist conspiracy-theory-loving perspective, of course, makes me suspect that gas prices went down temporarily as an attempt to placate the general populace into believing that all is well in the homeland, just in time for the election.

Mental note: must get rid of gas-guzzling pickup truck.

I went to lunch with a friend - her birthday was worse than mine. Her dog got a fast moving cancer about a week before her birthday and she had him euthanized the night before her birthday. Suddenly mine seems so much less sucky.

on one of the home networks - there is Mission:Organization - which I call the show that made me realizes the office looks like it does , because there is no place to put stuff. ( You would think redoing the closet in bedroom , which made it so much easier to put things away and keep it better - would have told me that). but there is another show called 'neat' which has people exposeing thier emotional reasons for not wanting to purge. the one I just watched was nasty - a couple that was really unpleasant to each other durring the whole proceess.
