Woo hoo Aimee!
That's excellent.
I went to lunch with a friend - her birthday was worse than mine. Her dog got a fast moving cancer about a week before her birthday and she had him euthanized the night before her birthday. Suddenly mine seems so much less sucky.
That's amazing, Aims. Go you!
sumi, I forgot to say happy birthday, and there you are! Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday sumi!
Damn, Aimée, that is impressive! You are a gorgeous, gorgeous woman. I wish I had a tenth of what you've got.
So, it's pouring here today. I'm currently taking bets on how much longer my normal one-hour commute will be this evening. I'll be pleased if it's 2 hours or less.
Vortex, insent in a minute....
You look lovely, Aimee.
on one of the home networks - there is Mission:Organization - which I call the show that made me realizes the office looks like it does , because there is no place to put stuff. ( You would think redoing the closet in bedroom , which made it so much easier to put things away and keep it better - would have told me that). but there is another show called 'neat' which has people exposeing thier emotional reasons for not wanting to purge. the one I just watched was nasty - a couple that was really unpleasant to each other durring the whole proceess.
How was your party, Jilli??
How was your party, Jilli??
SQUEEEEEE! Oh, it was wonderful! There was a big surprise (which apparently some of you folk knew about). Pete and my friend Fes organized a group birthday prezzie for me. A black 80G video iPod with "Queen of the Goths" engraved on the back!
I shrieked when I unwrapped it. And then almost started crying when I read the card.
Oooh, and one of my friends brough home-made chocolate-Guinness cupcakes with lemon-orange blossom frosting. I still have 5 of them sitting next to me here at work. I should probably have some proper food for lunch to go with them, shouldn't I?
sumi, are you doing fun things to celebrate today?
