Lorne: You know what they say about people who need people. Connor: They're the luckiest people in the world. Lorne: You been sneaking peeks at my Streisand collection again, Kiddo? Connor: Just kinda popped out.

'Time Bomb'

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy sumi-day!

Happy birthday, sumi!

Compassionately intolerant

Not Aimee, but I've heard Marianne Williamson say that.

In fact, I've got a ton of her cassettes to pass along. Must make a plan.

It is Marianne Williamson. I heard it in Akeelah and the Bee, but it was attributed to Nelson Mandela there. It is much longer, but I had to edit so it would fit here.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Happy birthday, sumi!

If I had your phone number, I'd have my brother call you. He's really good about birthday calls, and also sweet and good-looking and newly single. So, really, even better than your own actual brother calling you.

Though now I feel like a heel for even joking about such a thing...he just filed for divorce on Monday, and I feel awful for him and awful for not feeling more awful for his wife -- they've been together for a decade and married for seven years and yet she's always been so emotionally guarded that I feel that even after all this time I barely know her. To joke around with and go out for drinks with, yes, but really know? Was never able to get remotely close, not in all those years.
