Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

As for myself, I am sporting an Arrested Development tag.

How much would I give to watch those episodes with Fay and see her reaction to Wee Britain?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hey, P-C. Is your tag a Futurama quote? The "chuh" sounds an awful lot like an Amy Wong expression.

Nope, it's an Avatar quote. Although, interestingly enough, one of the co-writers of that episode (and head writer of the show), Aaron Ehasz, wrote a couple episodes of Futurama: "Crimes of the Hot" and "Future Stock." And both episodes featured Amy Wong!

Brenda, that's one of my all-time favorite quotes. Fry nails network programming in a single line.

It's from Avatar.

That explains why I didn't recognize it.

I think Lauren Tom is working on Avatar.

[hearts] Lauren Tom.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Okay, I'm off to pick Emmett up directly from school so I can change his pick-up lists.

Then I get to explain to him why the father of one of his best friends is now somebody he needs to be wary about.

Why do the humans have to suck?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Erm, sorry for the non sequitor post amidst the very distressing EM situation post. David, I hope things work out okay. It's good that you and EM are together on this.

I wish you could scrub the feeling of annoyance from your skin.

It's not so much annoyance as an atavistic urge to strangle with my bare hands. You do crazy threatening things anywhere near my kid and you flip all kinds of switches into Ready Alert.

Always Anti-fascist!

If I could I'd send you Paulie Walnuts, Hec. Have a chat with the man. I found my tag on an interview in the internets. I think he gets points for the use of "smite", though.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Much peace to you and yours, connie.

Much safety for EM and Emmett. This reminds me of someone here's common reminder (I disremember who...): 100 years, all new people!

I've never understood how things like slashing tires is going to improve a relationship. But then again, I've never been bugfuck craxy, so...

Always Anti-fascist!

I think it's sort of "Torture her till she likes me again."
