Our computer system at work went belly up, so I took that as a sign to ditch and come home so I could nap.
Now that I'm home, I'm wide awake. Gah. Need nap so I can have a brain for homework.
Hec - I know you will do what is best for Emmett.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That little kid is screwed.
I know. It's horrible. I know him well, and really like him. He's like Emmett's big brother.
I've got Emmett tonight and tomorrow and the coming weekend.
Yeesh. We've got to change all our "okay to pickup" lists at school and aftercare.

Yup. A must.
I feel awful for EM, and for Emmett (because it's way scary to have an adult you know and trust wig out), but I really feel for his kid. That's rough.
A friend of mine made it onto Consumerist with her possessed DVR.
Hey, P-C. Is your tag a Futurama quote? The "chuh" sounds an awful lot like an Amy Wong expression.

Peace-ma for connie.
Safety-ma for EM. I hate bugfuck crazy exes.
Sigh. Someone on Freecycle was giving away a box of Science Fiction & Fantasy magazines (in plastic covers) from the 1960s and 70s. I didn't respond quickly enough.

It's from Avatar. Great scene! But you're right - it does sound like Amy Wong. I think Lauren Tom is working on Avatar.
As for myself, I am sporting an Arrested Development tag.
How much would I give to watch those episodes with Fay and see her reaction to Wee Britain?

Nope, it's an Avatar quote. Although, interestingly enough, one of the co-writers of that episode (and head writer of the show), Aaron Ehasz, wrote a couple episodes of Futurama: "Crimes of the Hot" and "Future Stock." And both episodes featured Amy Wong!
