Heh. A friend of mine did this when we were cleaning his and our other friend's apartment. Watching it was pretty funny, but I imagine had it been me, I'd have thrown the can at one of their heads.

Yeah, the cigarette butt in the drink is one of the grosser things that exist in my real-life Universe (as opposed to things that I don't come into actual contact with).
My "grown up" moments included "Wow, I have a pension plan. And insurance (through work, for health. On my own for car.). I could have a more substantial retirement plan, but, well, credit card debt." more than my own place. I did buy a nice chair-and-a-half, but furniture didn't do it for me. I think the having my own income, and paying things off using only that income is a big thing.
