Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Ah, bless the internet:

Girl hypnotizes and dresses up lizards

Lily Capehart is a 10-year-old girl from Florida who like to "hypnotize" wild South Florida anole lizards and dress them up. Her father, a professional photographer, takes beautiful photos of the lizards, and sells the prints.

Lily’s gift was realized at the young age of two when according to her mother, Dina, Lily chased down and captured the critters wherever they went. Unlike most girls her age, instead of playing with dolls, Lily dresses up and plays with lizards. With her uncanny ability to “relax” and “hypnotize” them, Lily began dressing the lizards in costumes and creating whimsical scenes. Lily’s photographer father, Lucien Capehart, immortalized the colorful creations.

Here is her site: [link]

OMG, the pictures are hysterical....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Travelocity is stupid and lazy. I just want to pay an exorbitant amount for my tickets home. Why is that so complicated? If I can't book the flight, stop showing it to me.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

FWIW I also don't enjoy seeing people made uncomfortable, but I'm probably going to have to see Borat anyway, like seeing an ok movie for a balls-out great fucking performance.

ETA a third thing about comedy. Did anyone else see Alec Baldwin on SNL this weekend? It was good. I mean, people other than me also thought it was excellent.

Because books.

Bwah! The "ooops" one (with Polly Pocket!) is too funny.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Next up on the fundie agenda...banks!

OSA director Philip L. (Flip) Benham said Bank of America, Wachovia Bank and Sun Trust Bank have bankrolled “celebrations called ‘Gay Pride’ events … in public parks across our nation. These public lust fests promoted homosexual sodomy” in defiance of God’s laws.

I think I need to change banks. I certainly never got a flyer about any public lust fest.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Next up on the fundie agenda...banks!

Okay, when you said this I really thought you were going to say they were coming out against usury.

Which would be funny! But would tend to turn every corporation on the planet into a hotbed of evil. Which would mean I agreed with fundies on an issue! (If not quite for the same reasons.) Which would be weird.

I'm getting the pig!

Did anyone else see Alec Baldwin on SNL this weekend?

I thought I was losing it because I actually laughed at some of the skits. The SKITS! Seriously.

I know I won't see Borat in the theatre. Maybe on dvd when I can pause it from time to time. Also joining the parade of those that have a difficult time watching people make fools of themselves. American Idol try-outs? Oh hell no.

I think Walmart agreed to stop selling those.

Who makes the shirt? Any major label?

Is anyone still doing/has done the Funny Farm free association thing? I have a brown box that doesn't have dots in it. In fact, it says 7:00. I don't know how to fill that in.
