Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do you think this [link] is the shirtwaist dress I've been looking for?

That looks like Bev's dress in the Purple Haze episode of Eureka. Or not. I wouldn't spend $138 on a dress with no photo.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well, if it wasn't important enough for your predecessor to take it, I don't think there'd be anything wrong with removing it.

I know you're right. OK, I'll do it!

I wouldn't spend $138 on a dress with no photo.

Yeah, there is that. And I don't see any info on the website about returns, so I'm assuming I'd pay for shipping twice if I don't want it. Eh.

How's the thunderstorm going, sarameg (and other folks in that area)?

I drove into the bowels of hell. Seriously dark and bad visibility. holy typos batman! But it is just a drizzle now. Heard there were some tornados.

I liked Ugly Betty. There were spots with rough transitions (to me) and the concept makes me run to the hall, but all told, I'll watch again next week. Where do I know the boss guy from? Also, how much did I laugh that Salma Hayek cast herself in a bad telenovela? So much!

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I liked it too, but Gina Gershorn as Fabia was horrendous. And I hope to G*d that using "Suddenly I See" (which was also used in The Devil Wears Prada) was done with tongue in cheek.

hip deep in pie

Where do I know the boss guy from?

Sara, The casting director must have been from the OC because the son of Kiki's dad was the jerky Dean of Discipline that kicked out Ryan in Season 2. (Was that season 2?) He was a blond in the OC.

I also need to say, awww, baby Matilda! That may be bruised and squinchy to you, but that's a really not-under-two-hours-old looking kiddo! Most I've seen look much redder, squinchier and so very much angrier (I've seen a handful of under-a-day babies. I found all of them adorable, but man, they really do have a tendency to look very put upon.)

Sue, yes, exactly! Thank you. No wonder the minute I saw him, without knowing he was the boss, I thought asshole!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I want to watch Ugly Betty but Survivor and Office get my loyalty. Maybe when Survivor ends.

Sue, that guy is HOT. Was on the same premises as the shooting of Ugly Betty and he was wandering around. Scales well into real life.

What is even happening?

Yes, this. And well, they have been put upon.
