Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Happy Birthday, Jess!!! And great news on the apartment!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy Birthday, Jessica! May the apartment-acquiring go smoothly!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Happy birthday, Jess!

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

If you use Money or Quicken, you don't need to keep your statements. I imagine if I didn't use Money, I'd keep my statements now, because I've gotten used to going back and saying, "When did I buy that?" "Did I give them money already?" "How much was it last time?"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I keep my bills...quite a while, I guess. For the current year they're sorted by type, and when I turn the year over I just put the past year all together and label it.

The medical bills and explanations of benefits are used pretty often, and other bills are reviewed for usage patterns to see if I can get a better deal or bundle.

Oh, lord. Black belt training. I'm so sleepy. Gotta go.

Would one recommend Money or Quicken for a complete novice at such record-keeping systems?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've used both, and though I think I ultimately prefer Money, switching over to Quicken (which came preinstalled on my Mac) was completely painless.

I still use a little notebook as a check register. Spiral bound 3x5 cards. Each 50 pages lasts four or so years. I'm weird that way (and still off by $7.37!)

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy Birthday, Jessica!!
