You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Felicitations on the Anniversary of Your Natal Day, Jessica! May there be laughter and fun and cake! With candles, and may the year ahead be joyous and full of prosperity. Many happy returns.

Much happy birthday-ness to Jessica!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I'm watching Cruel Intentions (in memory of Reese-n-Ryan!), and it's funny how everyone in it is recognizable. I forgot that the shrink's daughter is Tara Reid, and the guy in bed with Pacey is the boss on Ugly Betty. Funny.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Jessica!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thank you, Kristin. That's really really nice of you. But I'm 97% sure I'm just going to draw myself into my little shell and just stay home.

Yesterday was a minor miracle, abetted by acupuncture in the morning, and the day's major migraine keeping itself between lunch and the birthday party--and the minor migraine during lunch eventually responded to the meds I threw at it.

I had the most peculiarly strong dream about Angel. I was Buffy, or at least in her position somehow. He was on his knees, gripping my/her legs and bawling about how he just wanted to be able to die properly, to leave a corpse behind for a real burial, not explode into ash.

This may be because I'm mainlining S2 in chunks. Still very odd. He was so terribly terribly upset.
