If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Heh. I just came across our very own Typo Boy cited in Ezra Klein's blog. I love when Buffistae pop up in other corners of my world.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Corwood, I saw a survival special on the National Geographic Channel that was hosted by a British special forces soldier who was much more informative and helpful than Survivor Man--plus, he was more low key. I don't know what it is about Les that makes me wish he get eaten by a bear (in spite of his pragmatic, sound advice).

I saw the ads for MvW and just wondered why they're doing another survival series--it's lame and redundant.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Watching Wednesday's Colbert, I think there needs to be a national movement to elect more singers.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

But then you end up with Sonny Bono in Congress.

You can get that on video from Crooks and Liars, btw, for anyone who missed it.

Hmm. I think you can make an argument that he's not a singer.

Hmm. Good point.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Went to see Christine Lavin at the Ram's Head in Annapolis last night. Fun show, as always, and she hugged me.(I guess she's seen us enough at her shows to feel comfortable hugging us, even if she doesn't always remember our names)

What is even happening?

You can definitely make an argument that he's dead.

Argh, so much to do today. Mostly because I did so little yesterday. And what I did do...I'ma have to repaint that wall. Not that I fucked it up, but the color, which is beautiful soft buttery yellow in natural light, has shown an alarming tendency to go all YELLOWYELLOWYELLOW when the lights are on. So I've got some other paint that's a few shades lighter and I hope it will do the trick.

But my sister's friend Ryan is coming with her tonight now, so I have to get this place company presentable before they get here. Yikes.
