And I have this weird feeling that UDF's coffee is Green Mountain Coffee, which is pretty darn good coffee.
Now I'm wondering if the homeless guy with the harmonica (which he never learned how to play) still hangs out at the UDF. And are The Cowboy and The Preacher still around there? If they are, I'm sure they'll find Drew.
The whole area up on Calhoun is different now. I've not seeing Cowboy, or Preacher, or the screaming witnessing guy. My favorite was the guy who followed us into UDF and sat down with us while we ate our ice cream. I still wonder what he was saying.
Watching this week's GA. Still kind of hating Burke.
Did you get to the part where he tells
George that he and Cristina are partners. . . but then kind of stops -- like he REALLY isn't so sure.
Yep. Still not liking
the rest of what he said to George.
I watched Vanished tonight. And, you know, I was able to control the eye-rolling for most of the episode because I read an interview with the show's creator so I knew much of what was coming,
including the until-now-missing Dead Sea Scrolls and the ancient cipher wheel.
But then I got to the preview for next week and I canna control the roll!
Because seriously. Nothing makes a ridiculously convoluted show about the kidnapping of a Senator's wife better than
an apocalypse.
No, really,
an apocalypse.
Got home tonight to find that my tape from last night was frelled and I don't have Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, and ER.
Can anyone give me a sentence or two about each? Just enough so next week makes sense?
My favorite was the guy who followed us into UDF and sat down with us while we ate our ice cream. I still wonder what he was saying.
That was The Preacher. All I know is there was some reference to Father's Day. I could only catch every 16th word or so.
But he was so earnest about it.
GA:
Derek, Burke, Webber, George, Karev, Joe and Walter (Joe's bf) went camping. Bailey was preventing Cristina from doing any surgery. Callie and Addison bonded while treating a pregnant woman who broke her arm in the shower. Sadly, the fall also caused her to miscarry. Meredeth was working with McSteamy on a case of sexual reassignment surgery where the patient developed breast cancer from the hormone treatments. Halifrek was back and Izzy was told to shadow her.) The camping trip was a failure (shock!) and wound up with Walter hitting his head on a rock that allowed Burke to stitch it up in full view of almost all the surgeons from Seattle General. He seems to be doing okay. (Cristina was wrestling with idea of confessing ALL to Bailey so that she would be allowed to do surgeries.) McSteamy and Mere go out for a beer and he tries to convince her to take him seriously. But when he steps away, Derek comes back and he and Mere are together again.
er: Excellent story with Morrison and a
possible multiple personality patient (DID?) They have an M&M about that surgery with the obnoxious chief surgical resident. Luka and Abby! It's Abby. Maggie - is her mother. (? - why do I have this problem remembering her name?) interview nanny candidates. Ray sees Neela and Gates having it off in one of the or rooms and decides it's time to move forward. (So sad.) That's most of it.
I don't watch Ugly Betty.
