I'm going to see to Wesley, see if he's still whimpering.

What is even happening?

Sean, I think the name of the episode was My Overkill.

Hay appears on screen, right at the beginning (in the teaser, I think).

I'd never seen Extreme Makeover: People Edition until today. It's kinda creepy, no?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Totally creepy.

We've taken your somewhat mousy, yet not unattractive wife/sister/mom and replaced her with Pamela Anderson. Let's see if anyone notices.

This one seems, like, SUPER creepy.

They're making over a couple who are getting married. And once the couple is wheeled into surgery, they're not allowed to see each other until they meet at the altar.

Oh ew!!!!

Seriously ew.

Though it occurs to me that this could've been the making of a great episode of Standoff. A groom holds his wedding hostage because he doesn't believe the woman at the altar is really his fiancee.

hee

"No, I'm sorry. No offense, ma'am, you are really beautiful, but my fiancee was BLACK! Not Asian!"

Speaking of versions, CSI last night had a great version of "Word Up" that I'd really like to know more about. Let me see what the iTunes store knows...

I loved hearing that last night, too! (Also thought that Hodges little dance to it was high-lariously cute.) According to someone at the TWoP episode thread, the band performing it was Willis.

Most of those shows, the "end" version just looks so...generic. TV anchor generic.

So I can make it all they way home with the gas light on. Good to know. (My impatience and bad traffic patterns made me not stop at the stations nearest work.) Car's getting 27 mpg. Pretty good for a 10 year old car with 84K and four doors!

HA! They just did the groom reveal and he totally looks like a TV news anchor.
