Speaking of versions, CSI last night had a great version of "Word Up" that I'd really like to know more about. Let me see what the iTunes store knows...
I loved hearing that last night, too! (Also thought that Hodges little dance to it was high-lariously cute.) According to someone at the TWoP episode thread, the band performing it was Willis.
Most of those shows, the "end" version just looks so...generic. TV anchor generic.
So I can make it all they way home with the gas light on. Good to know. (My impatience and bad traffic patterns made me not stop at the stations nearest work.) Car's getting 27 mpg. Pretty good for a 10 year old car with 84K and four doors!
HA! They just did the groom reveal and he totally looks like a TV news anchor.
See?!!
The woman isn't bad. She just looks like a more polished version of her old self. But the dude needs to be doing weather reports in Cedar Rapids.
I have to say, there was this makeover-your-trainwreck-of-a-life show that Kat showed me last year that was a bazillion times more horrifying. Seriously fucked up women and some sort of ongoing intervention. No self esteem whatsoever. I was agog.
So, Lee, you going to be home tonight then?
I am. I'm not sure if I want anyone to see me or the apartment right now though.
Also, the trip to the grocery store was a total SCORE. Not only did I get pumpkin ice cream, but they also had single glass bottles of a root beer I've been wanting to try and of Vernors! The ginger ale is the only part of that which I am interested in right now, but still, YAY.
Vernors is not ginger ale. Check the label. Ginger soda.
Bah. Shitty commute. My legs got soaked. It was rainy and too windy for umbrellas. It was raining so hard the ceiling of my bus was dripping on me. And then the trains were screwed up at Howard.
Oh well - it's nice and toasty here. I think there will be a hot bath and a nap, followed by BSG.
